Today, I am thrilled to have premiered a new video for “The Old Days,” marking the song's one-year anniversary and celebrating a significant milestone.
Over the past year, I've taken a bit of a rest from music production and found myself pursuing some personal ambitions, which included guitar lessons, improving my mental health and successfully breaking free from some detrimental habits that were affecting not only myself but also my loved ones. At present I am happier, more centered and more productive than I can ever remember being. I've been sober for a several months now and have been finishing up some renovations on my house which, God-willing, I'll have completed by Christmas. This will free me from a long list of responsibilities; tasks that have been on my plate for years now, allowing me to redirect my focus entirely to my music.
Presently, I have a handful of songs in the final stages of production, I plan to finish these up early next year and begin releasing them shortly thereafter. Excitingly, I'm also gearing up to form a band, intending to bring these songs to life through live performances. I'm not entirely sure how long all this will take, but what I'm certain of is the newfound energy and drive that accompany my fresh perspective on life. I can hardly wait to start directing the energy towards my music.
For now enjoy this beautiful work of art - thanks in no small part to the prowess of the filmmakers credited below. I initially intended for this to be a simple visualizer video using silhouettes to play out the plot. As you will see it evolved into something quite a bit greater than that! Write me a comment or email and let me know what you think! I really do enjoy corresponding with the wonderful people who weave in and out of my life through the various channels.
